I’ve lost my keys to my mailbox. How much to come out and make keys?
A locksmith can pick or impression a key onsite to your mailbox rather than breaking the lock and replacing it. Minimum service call and labour is $170
We are getting our pool compliant and our doors are not up to code. Is there something you can do to make them compliant?
We can install additional locks at the required height to make them compliant. We can also install door closers to make your door self-latch to be compliant. Making your pool compliant is determined by preliminary checks and a licenced pool inspector.
Our keys got stolen. Can you change our locks or do we need to buy new ones?
You do not need to install new locks to change the keys, if your locks are good quality or in fair condition, we can change the combination inside of your lock to suit a new key. Your old key won’t work anymore.
We have bought a digital lock on Amazon, do you install these?

Do you work weekends?
Standard office hours are Mon – Fri. If weekend work is required, we request clients leave a set of keys and work instructions at the property during the week. Please get in touch to discuss your needs and we can give you a quote as prices may vary.
Do you do car key replacements?
No, we do not. Automotive locksmiths are dedicated to automotive only as every car is different. Please get in touch with us for our recommended partners.
Do you replace doors?
Yes, we do, but this is dependent on the quality of the frame and your requirements. We have several suppliers for solid timber entrance doors to factory steel-clad exit doors. We can also supply and install appropriate hardware for your commercial premises for your building and fire code.
I'm locked out of my house. Are you going to break the lock to get in and will I need to buy a lock?
Nash locksmiths can bypass your locks security without it breaking and produce keys onsite to your lock if you have lost your keys. We can also rekey your locks if your keys are lost, stolen or vulnerable and can be tied to your address. We only pick or bypass locks if we have a filled out disclaimer form and you provide us with proof that this is your lock and we have permission to open it. Identification, a drivers licence, rates notice or lease agreement should be shown to the attending locksmith before works commence.
Our Bifold doors are jammed and hard to open?
Nash locksmiths service a wide range of doors and bifold doors. As Bifold doors can come out of alignment very easily, it’s not an issue that we can always solve. However, maintenance service of your Bifold doors can prevent wear and tear and prolong the life of your doors.
